Size guide

Find your ring size

Our rings use European sizes, which is the inner circumference of the ring in millimetres. Here is the size chart and three ways to measure, so your ring fits from day one.

The short answer

Your ring size is the inner circumference of the ring in millimetres, for example 53.5. The surest way to find it is our free ring sizer. If you already have a ring that fits, you can measure it, and otherwise you can measure your finger with a strip of paper. If you end up between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Ring size chart

The size is the ring's inner circumference in mm. The inner diameter is shown next to it, because that is the measurement you get when you measure a ring with a ruler. Many Swedish shops give the size as the diameter, so a size 17 there corresponds to 53.5 with us.

Ring sizer band looped around a finger

Order a free ring sizer

The surest way to find the right size. The ring sizer is an adjustable band that you loop around your finger, and it is free.

  1. Thread the end of the band through the slot so it forms a loop.
  2. Put the loop on your finger and tighten until it sits comfortably but still slides over the knuckle.
  3. Read your size at the marking.
Measuring the inside of a gold ring with a ruler

Measure a ring you already have

  1. Choose a ring that fits well on the finger the new ring is for, ideally a plain band.
  2. Lay it on a table and measure across the inside, straight through the centre, with a millimetre ruler.
  3. Enter the measurement as diameter in the calculator above, or find it in the diameter column of the chart.

Note: the diameter is not your size. A ring with a 17 mm diameter is size 53.5 with us.

Paper strip wrapped around a finger and measured against a ruler

Measure your finger with a paper strip

  1. Cut a strip of paper, not too thin, or use a piece of string.
  2. Wrap it around your finger where the ring will sit and mark where the ends meet.
  3. Measure the length with a ruler. The number of millimetres is your size.

Good to know: paper and string give an approximate measurement. Measure a few times and at different times of day, or order the ring sizer for a surer result.

Keep in mind

Time of day

Fingers are often slightly larger in the evening and when it is warm, and smaller when it is cold. Measure at different times and go by a normal day.

The knuckle

The ring should slide over the knuckle with a little resistance and not slip off on its own. If it does that, the size is right.

Wide rings

A wide ring sits tighter than a narrow one in the same size. If the ring is wider than about 6 mm, it can be worth going up half a size.
