A solitaire ring has a single diamond in the centre and a plain band that keeps the focus on the stone. Our solitaire rings are made in 18k gold or platinum, and you choose between a natural or lab-grown diamond.
The first choice is the cut. A round diamond has the most sparkle and is the classic choice for an engagement ring. An oval diamond can make the finger look a little longer, and an emerald cut has straight lines and a cleaner look.
Next comes the setting. Four claws show more of the diamond, while six claws hold the stone extra securely and give a rounder shape.
