Detailed Design

Every new ring is born at the drawing board. From the sketch, an exact copy of the finished ring is cast.

The wax model ensures that the finished ring's proportions,settings, and lines are perfectly preserved.

Wax Tree

The wax model is attached to a wax tree. The tree makes it possible to produce several rings at once.

The wax tree is then encased in a plaster-like material, which hardens and becomes the casting mold itself.

Once the mold has hardened, it is heated. The wax melts away, leaving a precise cavity into which the molten metal is poured.

Preparation and Polishing

As soon as the mold has cooled, it is opened, and the rings are separated from the casting tree.

Each ring is cleaned, ground, and pre-polished.

The ring is then prepared to match the exact dimensions of the stone. Each stone is set by hand with micro precision.

Final Polishing and Stamping

All rings are polished to a mirror finish and engraved with a metal hallmark and our own LXRY stamp, a mark of authenticity.

Inspection and Packaging

Each ring undergoes two quality checks, first in our workshop in Sweden or the UK, and then a final inspection at our headquarters.

Once approved, it is carefully placed in an LXRY box and prepared for delivery.
